CHALLENGE
She runs her bakery entirely from home, no shop, no fancy setup, just really good cakes and an Instagram page. The logo needed to do be memorable and something similar to her business. She wanted something minimal and pictorial, something that tells people exactly what she does without needing a single word of explanation.


STRATEGY
The idea came together around the home icon, since that's literally where the creativity happens. To tie it to baking, I melted the home slightly to mimic frosting dripping down a cake, and placed a cherry right at the top where a chimney would normally sit. It's a simple visual trick but it works, your brain reads "home" and "cake" at the same time.
OUTCOME
The final mark is clean and minimal, exactly what she needed for Instagram and local packaging. The logomark stands on its own, and the wordmark sits separately so she can use both together or either one independently. For color, warm orange and brown, nothing accidental about that choice. They're the colors of a freshly baked cake, butter, caramel, and comfort. Feels homemade without looking amateur.
