CHALLENGE
Email infrastructure isn't the most exciting category to design for, most brands in this space play it safe and end up looking identical. PosterMail wanted to avoid that. The brief was to keep it simple but give it something memorable, specifically by working the P and M together into something that also felt like it belonged in the email world. Iconic but not overdone.

STRATEGY
The idea was to merge the P and M into a single mark that naturally reads as an email icon. The two letters share geometry in a way that makes the envelope shape feel like it was always there rather than constructed. To push it further, a blended layer effect was introduced, stacked, slightly offset layers that give the impression of multiple emails in motion.
OUTCOME
The final mark is tight and confident, P and M locked together, dressed as an email icon without being literal about it. The layered blending effect isn't just a logo detail either, it carries into the broader branding as a visual system. Depth, stacking, movement, it works across headers, mockups, and UI context.
